Local save data

What the game stores

BLACK STACK stores profile progress, settings, active run state, and recovery copies beside the game executable or application bundle when that location is writable. If it is not, the game uses the operating system's Godot player-data location. Blackglass Assembly does not receive those files automatically.

Optional analytics

Balance telemetry stays local

When local analytics are enabled in SYSTEM CONFIG, completed-run balance data is appended to a local analytics file. It may include the run seed, identity, result, act, floor, difficulty, run statistics, and protocol or relic identifiers. BLACK STACK does not upload that file.

Control and deletion

You control the record

Disable analytics in SYSTEM CONFIG to stop future local entries. Delete the local analytics file to remove its history. Delete the portable save family or fallback player-data folder to remove saves and settings after making any backup you want.

Steam services

Platform data is handled by Valve

Steam processes purchases, Steam accounts, achievements, cloud services, community posts, and other platform activity under Valve's own terms and privacy policy. BLACK STACK contains no advertising or in-game purchases.
